adopt-a-student

This is a service to college students by families of First Redeemer Church. It provides a little extra encouragement to college students, as well as help them maintain ties with their home church here at First Redeemer.

Quote from a student:

"I wanted to thank you for all the kind gestures you have sent over the year. As a frshman in college, the adjustment is hard enough, but beingaway from home only made it harder. You're thoughtful "junk food" boxes at exam times and coffee gift cards for my birthday helped to remind me that I am not alone, and people back home still love me and are praying for me. God used your gifts to help me through tough weeks away from home. I wanted to tell you thank you! Thank you for your kindness by thinking of me." -Pat

Adopters

Families or individuals who want to be a part of this rewarding service should expect to commit to the following as a minimum:

1. Call, write, or email twice a month Sept. – May. 2. Send a care package once a semester. 3. Support them with prayer
